The fine print
Bathrooms and Passages Upgrade Project
Construction will commence on site, Monday 6 May 2024.
The project will be split in 3 phases of construction:
Phase A -06 May - 01 July > 28 rooms in total (601-715)
Phase B -01 July - 30 September > 42 rooms in total (301-515)
Phase C -30 September - 18 October > 14 Rooms (201-215)
Carpets in the bedrooms will be replaced with vinyl timber floor planks.The anticipated date for practical completion of the project will be 18 October 2024.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Central there was refurbishment being done at the time but it did not really affect much

Jean Pierre the butler was amazing and gave my little girl many smiles. Requested 2 pillows and never received it, even after a reminder call and email. First night got a turn down, thereafter none, even after requesting it. The carpets were not clean or vacuumed daily. It was sticky and had red and black stains. Crumbs my little girl had on table and carpets remained and was never cleaned. Manager got the installation of a towel rack which helped. Linen smelt clean and fresh. Reception didn't inform us of facilities in hotel, or around on check in. I had to ask as I saw another receptionist checking in and advising another guest. Overall a pleasant stay. Just wished that the pillows were delivered, and that the staff noticed my little one struggles to sleep on a single bed due to fear of falling off, if they just placed a fitted sheet to join the two singles to make her a little more comfortable. Clean bathroom door. Otherwise all good.
