The five of us just enjoyed 18 days at Mettahouse... and we deliberately say "enjoyed" because everything was absolutely wonderful. A lovely host who really cares about his guests' well-being, has the best tips for activities and restaurants, an extremely lovingly furnished house, an overwhelming view, and so much more. A wood-fired hot pot and an outdoor sauna from which you can watch the surfers and kite surfers. Not everyone has that in their garden. Great!!! Whenever we were out and came back, everyone felt like we were coming home. You can't ask for more than that – full marks from us!

Such a stunning house, everything was perfect, I can't fault it. The wood fired hot tub was especially awesome.

What a beautiful villa with absolutely everything you could want and more - pristine rooms, woodfired hot tub, Swedish sauna, pool, BBQ and not to mention the views of both sunset and sunrise, all in the backdrop of the ocean. Plus we even saw the whales at the beach (from the villa decking). Richard was the most hospitable host and very generous with his time and location tips. Like us, you will be torn whether to stay and enjoy the villa or explore the surroundings (we'd suggest you book more days than you'd bank on being here!). Ooh and short hike to Elsie's peak is a worth it too.
