We chose the premises mainly for its location. Keep in mind that the premises are a holiday house/shack and not a hotel/motel. The premises truly are a "retreat" or what could be called an "escape" - they are on a bushland property at a semi-remote site some 20 minutes drive from the town of Portland in Victoria which is the nearest source for shopping and supplies. One attraction is that the premises are a small acreage "farm" which has over 40 resident kangaroos - but which are very timid and wary of any close contact.
