It is a big house, it has 2 bathrooms besides 2 bedrooms and a large living room and separately a dining room. It has all the facilities, like in the description. It is situated in an olive orchard along with other trees. It is another house on the property but it's at a distance. It is very quiet except the burking of the neighbors dog that is located close to you. I've understood from other reviews that the dogs are very nice, but no one has introduced them to us, maybe the burking would stop 😊 The location is very closely from the village supermarket and about 7 km from the nice town of Lucca.

This place comes as a package: house, cake and Dodo, the dog. Dodo was so lovely that we had difficulties to say goodbye to him. We enjoyed our stay in the rustic house despite the unseasonal weather. It was rather cold, especially in the evening. Morning sunshine was great and Dodo was coming to say hello to us every day. He likes all kind of cakes and biscuits. The house is rustic but the rate was very reasonable. It is very spacious and functional. We loved sitting outside, drinking coffee and enjoying the view. With beautiful Lucca just 12 and impressive Pisa 20 minutes away and breathtaking Florence located one hour drive on a paid motorway, you cannot go wrong. Christina, Anna’s Mum, was very helpful. She gave us some eggs from her own chicken. I haven’t eaten such good scramble eggs in a long time. I only regret that I could not buy her home made oil because of transport issues.

The location is ideal for exploring larger and smaller Tuscan cities as well as the countryside. It is possible to complement your exploration by swimming at the sea, which is not too far away and there are also nice public beaches nearby. Communication with the hosts was always smooth and pleasant. Overall, we recommend the place to families with children who want to really enjoy and get to know Tuscany. Many thanks for a peaceful and relaxing holiday!!!
