We really appreciated the baskets of goodies left for us. Also, Jane provided excellent advance information with full details about location, finding the key box etc and updates during our stay. She was also extremely helpful regarding something irreplaceable which was left behind. We loved the area with its proximity to many interesting places and made very good use of our English Heritage membership. The garden at Tickenhurst House is secluded and enjoyed by all.

The Dower House is beautiful, set in fantastic grounds and very well appointed. Very well laid out and comfortable. We were a party of 19, with 3 young children and a baby and it was ideal. There was plenty of room for everyone to get together and also grab a quiet moment If needed. The pool room was a highlight, as was the massive dinner table and fabulous kitchen. Great communication with our contact Jane. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Host was very responsive especially when we made a wrong turn and ended up some other manor in pitch darkness.. it was such a relief to be there for us. There was a basket of goodies and a Christmas tree (our 1st real one) waitg for us. It was really a plus for us city folks to enjoy living in a farm house. All our needs were truly catered. I enjoyed the tranquility of the walks around the place. Perfect for a getaway.
