we were stranded due to flight mechanical issues whilst on the tarmac and got accomodation at Coral Sea Resort but there were some issues with their booking and they cancelled our room last minute and we found this hidden gem late in the day after a very stressful day. It was boat race week and there was no accomodation left except backpacker accomodation. We were pleasantly suprised with this accomodation. It reminded us of Bali and the shower pressure was fanastic. A comfortable room for a great price. Lots of options for pizza or fastfood and coles within walking distance.

I loved the Patio Room I stayed in the shower was amazing. I loved how remote and peaceful the poperty was. Everything was so nice.

It’s one of the cheapest option in the area. Clean room, private shower and bathroom, good deal if you are on a budget.

There was no breakfast. The location was great. The bus stop to Airlie beach bus line was a short walk away. I really appreciated the gentle morning light that was filtered by banana leaves. At no time did the room get bright sunlight, located as it was under an Old Queenslander in a tropical garden.
