Lodges Overview

Featuring outdoor, rock waterfall showers, all Elephants Footprint Lodge rooms overlook the pool and garden. Customised safaris can be arranged to Addo Elephant Park, 3 km away and home to rhino, buffalo, lions and leopards.
The spacious, African-style rooms include a partly-enclosed bathroom with large bath and environmentally-friendly toiletries. Cotton linen, a seating area and tea/coffee facilities are also provided.
The Elephants Footprint restaurant serves a continental or full English breakfast. The á la carte lunch menu offers fish and game specialities and is occasionally buffet-style. Dinner is available on request with prior arrangement. Private dining is possible in the wine cellar.
The lodge can organise river, sea and dune trips. Darts is available in the bar and badminton is available on request.
Set 1.5 km from Colchester and the N2 road, Elephants Footprint is a 10-minute drive from the beach by the Sundays River mouth. Port Elizabeth Airport is 45 km away and there is free parking on site.

It provides African décor, cotton linen and a seating area with leather sofa. The private bathroom is partially closed off from the room and includes a large bath and free, environmentally-friendly toiletries. Please take note that this room type cannot accommodate extra people. Kindly note that into our honeymoon suite , babies are welcome while they sleep into baby cot under 3 years old and are free of charge.

Very nice owner and people who work there. Great and authentic dinner (self made!). Great support of the staff for planning a route in Addo. Nice outdoor shower. Also the location is very nice, just a few mins by car to the south entrance. We went with our small daughter (12 months) and it was great and also very children friendly (we had a high chair and a baby bed). I can really recommend this accommodation!

The hotel was nice, clean (the pool as well) and the bed was very comfortable. It’s located close to a national Park and easy to find. the rooms have outdoor showers and s indoor tub. The staff was very nice and the food excellent. They did send me a mail before I got there about allergies, special diets, food preferences or food I don’t like which I thought was very nice. I asked them for recommendations for activities and they recommended a five nice options.

Recommend the lodge. Unfortunately we had no running water for 2 days. Provided drinking water and brown water for toilets plus discount.

We had a really lovely stay! The rooms are pristine clean, very well equipped, there is a bath and a lovely shower, big bed, and the rooms are quite big too! The breakfasts were delicious! And such an amazing choice! Dinners also, but be hungry because they are quite big! :D all and all we really enjoyed it, and the staff is just WONDERFUL and so accommodating :)
