I’m delighted to find this apartment, at a reasonable price. It’s very spacious and well equipped - the photos are totally accurate - immaculately clean and everything feels new. Located in Caniçal, the farthest eastern town - a charming town it is - less touristy - more down to earth, and genuinely friendly. The host is a wonderful example of Madeiran hospitality, and he was there exactly on time to help check in. After that, I knew he was available if I needed anything, but we had no contact other than a few text messages. There’s an abundance of good local restaurants nearby (one directly below the apartment) many specialising in a wide range of fish coming daily from the harbour (it doesn’t much more convenient and fresher than that) Comfortable bed, good quality sheets and towels. Free parking in the large car park next door makes it super easy if you are driving… and a bus stop across the road if you aren’t. Exploring the eastern end of the island, you will find one of the very few sandy beaches at Prainha. It’s an easy walk down from the cliffs, and loved swimming there! Overall, for me, next time I come to Madeira, I’ll stay here again!

The apartment has absolutely everything you need and it really feels like home. There's free parking next to the apartment and it is empty most of the time. Guido is definitely the best host and we were welcomed with treats made by his lovely wife. We had a great experience and we highly recommend this accommodation.
