We had a truly wonderful stay at Serene Retreat in Madeira and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is outstanding — peaceful and beautifully set, yet extremely convenient for exploring the island. The apartment itself was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail, which made us feel at home from the very first moment. The property is clearly very well maintained and cared for. Thomas was an exceptional host — welcoming, attentive, and always available to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. His hospitality truly added to the overall experience. Another great advantage is the proximity to amenities. Within walking distance, there are several grocery stores, local shops, and even a small shopping mall, making daily errands incredibly easy and convenient.

Clean, tidy, al lot of space, nice interior, two balconies and a well equiped kitchen. Located in the centre of a village with more locals then tourists. Everything you need is closeby. Easy parking. Kind and responsive host.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It had view on the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Location in perfect as it is 10min from airport and 20min from Funchal. Definitely worth the money. The only downside is the parking. You are not guaranteed you will get parking for free on the street, but you will always get one nearby for a hourly fee. The owners are also very friendly.☺️
