The location is excellent—it's about a 15-minute drive from the airport and close to Funchal. We rented a car, therefore we appreciated the fact that parking was also available. Since the apartment is situated on a hill, it takes about half an hour to walk down to the beach. However, there is an option to use a funicular for part of the journey. The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped, featuring a washing machine, iron, heaters, and of course, dishes.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated having two bathrooms, which was really convenient. The balcony offered a lovely view, and the free parking outside on the roads nearby made things easy. It’s in a safe and quiet area, so we could relax. The host was on time, super helpful, and very kind when we arrived!

I highly recommend this apartment. I chose this property because it looked bright and spacious in the photos, and it truly was. We felt right at home. Everything we needed was there: a washing machine, dishwasher, full kitchen appliances, and a hairdryer. The apartment was clean, and parking was never a problem outside.

Our arrival went smoothly, we were even able to check-in earlier. Right before arrival, I was added to a WhatsApp group with the accommodation for easy exchange, which was very helpful. Within minutes we usually got all the answers to our questions. We also got instructions for the use of every electronic item in the kitchen. Everyone was very helpful, even with finding a car rental. From the apartment you can reach the next bus stop within a three minute walk, small supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are right there as well. We stayed over new years and the apartment had the perfect location to walk down to the Cristo Rei statue, from where we could see the fireworks in Funchal, or even the sunrise. The apartment itself is very well equipped! From washing machine to dishwasher and supplies, a new! sponge, to all the kitchen utensils, everything was there. Everything was very clean as well, the first apartment ever, where I felt comfortable walking barefoot! Thank you for this wonderful stay!
