Nigel “Beautiful clean, architect designed villa with an abundance of light and amazing views of the coast”

• We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful, modern, architect designed Villa Omar. The villa was extremely clean, well-furnished and the kitchen reasonably well equipped. The balconies afforded magnificent views out towards the ocean and we enjoyed some amazing sunsets. The layout and design is wonderful and light streamed in with breath taking views of the coastline. • The bathrooms were extremely clean and stocked with toilet paper, hand wash, lotion and shower soap. There were ample towels and linen in general. The washing machine was a great addition. • The management company were quick to respond when the toaster blew the fuses, a replacement was sent the next day. • In this location you definitely need a car to get around, shop etc • We were very lucky with mostly beautiful weather during our stay – although very breezy! Lovely small swimming pool but the water was freezing.

We stayed two weeks in this spacious house. It offers great views of the ocean especially from the rooftop. It is located almost at the end of a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood. Canhas is close to Ponta do Sol, where there are some good restaurants and bars. Comfortable furniture in the living room, good beds, spacious bathrooms.

Beautiful Villa. The views are nothing short of spectacular, especially from the roof terrace! Views out into the Atlantic as well as the coastline to the west, amazing sunsets weather permitting. Lots of space, almost too much for just the two of us! Private drive with electronic gate is handy if hiring a car. Modern decor and well equipped. Smart TV is a bonus if you intend to use it. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival despite us being late due to a delayed flight - they check you in and the leave you to it. Very quiet surroundings day and night, perfect to switch off and relax by the pool. En-suite in both rooms as well as a third bathroom downstairs, each with a really nice shower and a big deep bath in the main bedroom. Lots of nice plants as well as a herb garden which you can help yourself to for cooking during your stay. Location is also a great spot to be based for heading out and exploring the island - nowhere is much further than an hours drive away.
