Just like staying with the family with all the cats and dog too in a fabulous location albeit far from the main road. We arrived around 6pm and we're greeted by the beautiful mastiff and a few cats. The hostess offered us a choice of rooms and we chose the one with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. We freshened up and went into the town of Cangas del Narcea. The road down to the main road is very winding and steep so took us a bit longer than we thought. The way back we took a different route which was a bit better and shorter. A comfortable night. There were other guests but we didn't hear them. Woken up to the cow bells and a donkey braying. Breakfast was just right: freshly squeezed orange juice, and loads of hot coffee followed by Serrano ham and toast, a hot danish and sponge cake all served by our hostess in the little breakfast room. Settling the bill was easy and our hostess saw us off. Her husband even left his chores to wish us a good trip.

The hosts were lovely and looked after us very well. We were given a choice of evening meal, which we had booked in advance as we were aware that there were no restaurants close by.
