The hotel we originally booked (Café Blue) let us down by cancelling our booking.com booking two days before we were set to arrive so we had very few options available at Palolem Beach for the 6 nights we would be there. Thank goodness this particular hotel was available! It doesn't have a beach front view but it does have a lot of heart. The lady that runs the place was attentive and helpful, offering complementary drinks and assistance in booking legit taxis throughout our stay. We also found the location to be excellent as the rooms are halfway between the main road/market and the beach which meant that the only noise we experienced in the room was a couple of stray dogs barking and the odd noisy customer coming and going during the day. There's a pathway to the beach that's not on Google maps which only takes a minute, maybe two and you end up at the center leaving you the option to go northwards where it's quiet or southwards where it's more lively. To be honest, the lively part is still quite chilled. The room was simple, but large and had enough storage space to unpack our belongings. Our room had both an air conditioning unit and a fan and both worked perfectly throughout the 6 nights we stayed there. The bathroom is a wet room situation (as most Indian hotel room seem to be, from our experience). One other thing, we only had two bugs enter our room during the stay: one nosey mosquito and one baby spider which is kinda miraculous for accommodation in a tropical climate. After the panic of scrambling around for last minute accommodation, I'm really grateful to the host and her team for such a pleasant stay. I genuinely would come here again if we find ourselves back in Goa.

The hotel was extremely clean and neat. The beds were very comfortable and the Air Conditioning, Fridge and kettle all worked perfectly. The balcony is setup for you to exercise on or sit out and lounge at which was brilliant. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and happy to help you immediately and not put your requests off for later or delay it. The free beers & water each day was the icing on the cake!
