Very friendly staff, rooms and bathroom clean. The location was great with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Wifi was OK. Shower worked well. Soap and shampoo were provided. All in all a good choice for a budget conscious traveller.

Absolutely lovely welcome — we arrived completely soaked from a sudden downpour, and the staff immediately handed us towels and hot teas while we checked in. Really thoughtful. The room itself was pretty standard: clean, a bit small, brilliant air con, but the wet-room bathroom wasn’t the best design. Location was spot on for exploring the city together though. Here’s what really stood out: on our last morning, we had a 6am bus to catch to Rach Gia. We mentioned to the night staff we’d miss breakfast, thinking nothing of it. Then, at half five as we were leaving, the same guy quietly gave us a neatly packed takeaway bag with bananas, bottled water and a few pastries. “For your journey,” he said smiling. We were both genuinely touched — it wasn’t included, just a really kind gesture. Yes, the bathrooms aren’t great. But the care shown by the staff is something special. If you value warmth and kindness over fancy finishes, you’ll feel truly looked after here. Perfect for couples after an honest, heartfelt stay.
