I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world but our stay at Agroturismo Son Marge was truly special. We visited in early October when the finca was fully booked, yet it was peaceful and quiet. It often felt like we had the place to ourselves, and on some days we really did. We stayed as a couple, but it’s also perfect for families with children. The grounds are beautiful, with gorgeous adults-only and family pools surrounded by immaculate gardens. The staff were incredible throughout, always friendly, attentive and genuinely warm. Everything was spotless and the service was faultless. We loved the ping pong, mini golf and tennis courts, all free to use, and the animals (ponies, chickens, birds and of course Gizmo the cat) were clearly well cared for. We ate at the hotel every night and were very well looked after. The food was excellent, with the BBQ night a real highlight. The bar was well stocked with plenty of choice and breakfast offered a great selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries and cooked options. Our room was perfect for two and the shower was amazing – I missed it as soon as I got home. You’ll need a car here but there’s plenty of parking and everything within the finca is easily walkable. The location is ideal, close to Campos for shops and restaurants, Santanyí and the beautiful coastline. We genuinely struggled to find any fault with Son Marge. It’s a peaceful, welcoming haven that’s made us fall completely in love with Mallorca. Thank you, Son Marge, for the most incredible holiday.
