The house was old school with sobe de teracota pe gaze. The orchard was great, big, has a little valley with a stream and a bridge over it. BBQ area looked nice. Comfy overall if you are wanting old school comfort, which we love. One tip for future guests: the little yellow bowls on the sobe are the source of the extreme lavender smell. The house smells nice and lavendery when you first arrive, but after a minute you start dying from the extreme smell. It's a beautiful smell but it is lavender x9000 so like anything in exagertated amounts, it will melt your wig. So we took those little bowls and we put them in the dishwasher and stored them there (you can't clean them, even washed and empty they will continue to emanate that smell). If you have small kids, there are two flights of stairs which will prove dangerous, but if you keep your kids in the upper part of the house where the lounge and bedrooms are you will be able to keep them away from the stairs. The beds were comfy, sheets crispy clean, lots of light in the matrimonial bedroom. There is a nice big night solar light right next to a window on a blocked door towards the backyard (in the main bedroom that is, a second door). So its like sleeping with a trucks headlights in your window all night. The curtains in the matrimonial bedroom are on either side of a net curtain on the same rod, so you can't pull them all the way. The rooms are clean, the bathroom has shower over bath, the kitchen has everything you need except for pots. So if you are planning on cooking bring pots (though for us we didn't travel to cook, so no problem, but in case anyone needs the info). You park inside the front yard and there should be enough space to turn around in there and exit without reverse exiting. So the car is behind a gate all night. Though the area seems pretty safe. There are sheep way in the back behind a fence. Pretty cute. Though not keen to hang out.

It was a really nice place and the hosts are really nice and friendly. The hot tub is definitely a big thing and the environment is peaceful and good.
