Everything. Barbara made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door and goes above and beyond. Tourist tickets are printed out ready for you and you can also buy bus tickets from her. Clean rooms and a lovely breakfast. A short bus ride and you are in Venice. Barbara has done her own guide to Venice which is excellent , we have been fortunate to have visited Venice before but from her guide we have seen places we haven't seen before. A fabulous stay with a fabulous host in a beautiful setting. Also as we travelled by car the parking was great.

Host was amazing. Beautyfull hotel, great location 100 meters from the bus station, 10 minutes drive to Venice. Good breakfast and great italian coffee.

Our stay at Hotel Antica Fenice was excellent. Barbara was friendly and accommodating throughout, maintaining contact during the booking process and doing everything she could to ensure our stay was welcoming and comfortable. I booked this stay after being let down by another hotel that would not allow late check-in due to our late arrival flight. Barbara reassured me that although the reception desk would be closed, she would personally be there to greet us. She also provided a work contact number so we could update her on our arrival time, ensuring she would be ready to let us in. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a smile. Barbara showed us to our room, provided the key, and kindly suggested that we could complete the necessary documentation the following morning. The next day, we were again greeted warmly and invited to breakfast. The breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection including croissants, cakes, toast, fruit, cold meats, cheese, cereal, and other breakfast options. Afterward, Barbara gave us helpful advice on how to get into Venice, recommended places to visit, and even sold us a 24-hour bus ticket, which made things much easier for us. The room itself was basic but clean. The bed was comfortable, and we slept very well. The surrounding area was clean and quiet, with only some light traffic noise from the nearby road, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. I would definitely book here again if returning to the area.
