An ideal stopover for hiking fans, where several interesting hiking trails of the Portofino Nature Park started. We liked the location of the house behind the church, on top of the hill, with amazing views of the sea from the windows. It was nice to take a short walk beginning in front of the house to a the lovely, lively seaside village of Camogli with shops, ice cream parlors and restaurants. In the morning it was nice to wake up with the sound of church bells. We also liked the cafe-shop next to the house, where you could buy coffee, pastries and fruit and meet the local people early in the morning which was an encouraging start to the day.
