The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please take note that, the outdoor rooftop pool will be located at the different building from Sekata Apartment. The distance will be around 500 meters away located at Sekata Makmur building.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Our experience at Sekata Apartment was truly one to remember — not just because of the beautiful place itself, but because of the incredible kindness and generosity of the management team. The moment we arrived, our car unfortunately broke down right at the residence. It could have easily turned into a stressful start to our trip, but the management immediately stepped in to help. They went above and beyond, making countless calls to find a mechanic and doing everything they could to get our car fixed. We had only booked for one night, and when it became clear that the car couldn’t be repaired that evening, the staff continued to assist us — calling around to find a rental car or taxi so we could go out for dinner, even negotiating prices on our behalf. Their care and effort were truly touching. The next morning, on our checkout day, the manager himself offered us his own car so we could drive out to get breakfast — an incredibly generous gesture you don’t see every day. I declined since the mechanic was on the way, and thankfully, our car was eventually fixed. As we were getting ready to check out, the doorbell suddenly rang — and to our surprise, a member of the management came by to offer us a free extra night because they felt bad that we couldn’t fully enjoy our stay due to the car trouble. We were genuinely moved by such thoughtfulness. It’s rare to find a place where the people care so much about their guests’ comfort and experience. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly located, but what truly made our stay special was the warmth and kindness of the Sekata Apartment team. Highly recommended! If you ever visit Cameron Highlands, this is the place to stay — not just for the accommodation, but for the incredible people who run it.
