Placed in the center of the historic city the atmosphere in the hotel was warm and welcoming, calm and quiet with a touch of luxury. From our room we had overview of the work in the winery, and they produce good wines wich are paired with tasteful food. The room was great and had a newly renovated bathroom with high quality. You are in quite an old building so do not expect finishes on the level of a newly opened hotel. Then again the age is what brings the atmosphere, you can't have both. If the hotel's wine isn't enough, you have many more producer's in the nearby area, all good producer's, and you can ride a bike to them. The outdoor area, the courtyard, was not in use since it was late in the season, but the winestocks make a great canopie and covers most of the courtyard. The grape was ripe, hanging down from the bushes.

Fantastic breakfast which was ordered at the table. Very pleasant surroundings in a nice little village near the freeway. A beautiful restaurant in the hotel's inner courtyard.
