Room and bathroom were really lovely and everything was clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and breakfast as well as little extras of chocs and biscuits were all included and felt very homely. Hosts were super lovely too. We were very happy with our stay

Penny and Laurie were exceptional hosts. We arrived exhausted, hours late, driving down from Auckland Airport, being stuck in a traffic jam, nil visibility from pouring rain, hail and thunderstorms, to a lovely warm reception on such a cold dark night. Their kindness and warmth, we will never forget. Their years of experience managing/owning holiday accommodation/guest apartments shone thru, having an exceptional eye for detail and perfection. Everything you needed plus more. Fabulous breakfast in a well-equipped kitchenette. Having travelled worldwide for more than 50 years, this would rate as one of my best stays ever.
