I only ever give a 10 to places that truly win my heart — and this one did! Everything here is wonderful: the garden full of flowers, the beautiful house and terrace, the breakfast, and of course the people. This is a place we will definitely come back to. Thank you for such a special place — it truly captured our hearts.

We loved our stay at Casas de Pedra The location is perfect, slightly cooler than the coast, not far from a supermarket and easy to reach the main routes for walks etc. The self catering breakfast was great, some mornings we left early for a sunrise/walk and other we could have a lay-in with not set time for breakfast. The bread and fresh fruit were lovely, we were given a great selection and generous quantity of breakfast options. The room was cleaned and beds made up daily, the room facilities had everything we could need. The host were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent location close enough to Funchal and the motorway to easily get wherever you wanted to go. The staff were attentive and we found the house spotless and the pantry resupplied everyday after we returned. Quite surroundings and a private access road which made everything feel more intimate.
