The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and provided a suitable one-night stop on my journey. The breakfast was excellent and provided welcome nourishment for the day ahead. The Proprietor was very friendly and most helpful in dealing with my late arrival.

The lady proprietor was really lovely. Made me a late meal when I arrived late from Pewsey Gave me maps in the morning for onward travel and we exchanged lots of stories! Not a modern house but as homely as you could get . I made the right choice , no doubt about that and will keep in touch with her .

Gwyneth was very welcoming. She made me a nice cup of tea and recommended a good restaurant to eat in the evening. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
