Our stay was just an overnight, but it was perfect. Kevin has a wealth of knowledge on the area and had some lovely recommendations for our road trip and they all worked out so well. A beautiful spot, everything was beautifully presented, such a lovely, neat property. Delicious rusks and an array of homemade preserves and edibles to purchase.

A True Gem with a Personal Touch. Unforgettable Hospitality! From the moment we arrived at this charming guest house, we felt completely at home. Colleen and Kevin are the heart and soul of the experience. They are warm, thoughtful, and incredibly generous hosts who go the extra mile to make your stay special. We were spoiled with delightful treats, such as traditional "melkkos", freshly homemade bread, and wonderful homemade jams and chutneys that added a personal touch. It's clear that every detail is considered with care and love. Their extensive knowledge of the wider Calitzdorp, Swartberg mountains, Huisrivier pass, Rooiberge mountain and Kruisriver areas made all the difference. They provided us with wonderfully detailed recommendations for local attractions, hidden gems and excellent spots for lunch, every suggestion was spot on! The guest house itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and filled with character. But it’s the genuine hospitality and attention from Colleen and Kevin that truly sets this place apart. It felt less like a stay and more like a visit with dear friends. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Highly recommended, and a stay here is an experience you’ll treasure! Much more than we expected. Thank you so very much!
