Quite a quiet place. The villa is very atmospheric, has its own character. Lots of nice little things. There are all the necessary things and space even for a large group of people. Parking space for 2 cars. It is close to the lighthouse. Wood stove!

Fantastic location, in a cute mainly agricultural village, with 3 good restaurants. The walking in the region was some of the best we had made in Madeira.

It is a very nice and cozy farm house on the very west of Madeira. The location could not have been better and we have been extremely satisfied with our stay. You pick up the keys from the lock box, but the property manager Joanna is very helpful and the communication has been always prompt and pleasant. Every evening we sat outside and watched sunset with some beer and wine and we grilled several nights as well. The house and the neighborhood is very very quiet. The village is not very big but has three restaurants and two bars. There are two small supermarkets and we could do most of our shopping in town. There is also a pharmacy that services covid tests. There are several popular hikes around the village (without driving). One of the hikes we did was to go down to the pebble beach, which was not on any hiking books but this was one of the best hikes we did in Madeira. We will definitely be back.
