David Tonge “Great apartment in the heart of Calella”

The location was fantastic, Calella is a beautiful spot with a number of beaches of varying character..some are wide with bars and restaurants but our favourite was a small cove-like beach less than 5 mins walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is on the front, amongst the bars and restaurants, with a sea view. The apartment had 3 bedrooms, one with a double-bed, one with 2 doubles, and a room with bunk beds which we didn't use. There is an area for drying washing, and the living room was really spacious, perfect for chilling out in. Booking says there is no internet but there is perfectly good WiFi in the apartment. There is a lovely coastal path walk you can do in both directions, one leading to the next town, Llefranc, which is worth a visit. There are plenty of shops for groceries (a Spa less than 5mins walk away and a bigger one less than 10mins walk), as well as places selling ice-cream and crêpes. We didn't have a car but if you did there are lots of other pretty villages along the Costa Brava you can visit easily. Garcia the host at the agency was super-helpful. He sent us video instructions via WhatsApp for where to pick the keys up and where the apartment was. This was really useful as we arrived late at night. On our final day he let us check out late and we were able to leave our suitcases in his office until our evening flight back. I can't recommend him enough, so accommodating.

The location is 10 out of 10 ,close to the beach. Around plenty of resturants. spacious apartment although the rooms are not big ,well maintenance and very clean .the parking is not next to the apartment ,but 2 min walk but it is private parking ,and wide . .
