Our family of 4 ( kids aged 8 and 10) had a lovely ten day stay at the apartment. We had to pass the offices to pick up the keys so that was pretty easy and we got to speak to a helpful agent who gave us the lowdown on the area and the apartment. We left to go to the airport early in the morning before they opened so on the way back we conveniently just dropped the keys in the drop box outside the offices. Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped, everything worked and we loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. The pool was fantastic fun for the kids, you have to cross a quiet road to get to it but that was fine as we couldn’t leave them unaccompanied in the pool anyway. My son enjoyed playing with his toys in the little garden adjacent to the block. You can walk to the nearest beach in about 15-20 mins with a shortcut if you take steps at the end of the road (the Beach is Golfet) it’s very pretty but with no facilities and it’s advisable to arrive by late morning to get a good spot in August. It’s remote but a bit of a destination beach in the summer. We also loved Llfranc and Tamarui beaches which we drove to and they both had restaurants nearby. We did a lot of snorkelling. You can walk to Calella in about 20 -25 mins although it is uphill a bit on the way back. August was very busy in the town but as we ate out earlier than most diners we found it easy to get a table. It might be worth booking in advance if you’re not an early eater or have dietary requirements. Loads of supermarkets in Parafrugell otherwise. The apartment is located in what felt like a safe and relaxed neighbourhood. We requested towels and sheets although we ended up washing the towels half way through the 10 days as they don’t change them. It was good to have parking in the underground garage but in a big car you may struggle to get it in and out as it was a bit of a tight space, some people were parking on the road. Overall very happy with our stay.
