Absolutely great place for holidays. Apartment is big ( located on the 2nd floor of the building, 4 sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room with a big table, TV and nice sofa) very clean and comfortable. Beds are super. Kitchen is super well equipped ( big fridge, micro wave oven, oven, coffe machine Tassimo capsules, toaster, electric kettle, many plates, cutlery, pots and much more, even many minor food staff😁). There is a washing machine in a separate utility room as well. Localisation is fantastic, just 30 seconds from the big, beautiful, clean and not too crowdy beach (appartment with a balcony to enjoy the sea view). Beach umbrelas, a beach chair, a volleyball ball and some more beach accessories are available as well. There are a lot of shops and restaurants around and very close ( bakeries 30 sec distance, Mercadona, Lidl-7 minutes walking distance etc). The train station is located very close, just 10 minutes walking distance, trains to Barcelona center every 30 minutes and distance is just 1 hour, tickets cheap, ca 5,5 € one way. The apartment owner is very, very nice and helpfull ( immidiate and great contact, we received a very pragmatic and comprehensive written guide to enjoy the time in Calafell area, we have asked to help with taxi to the airport and it was organised perfectly and cheap 😉). We felt like very warmly welcome guests, therefore if we have an opportunity to come back to Catalonia we will definitely book Casita del Bot again.

The host was waiting for us and was very helpful and nice. Also the departure was flexible and the host came early in the morning to say good bye. She explained everything perfectly. It was very nice to get the welcome drinks - actually bottle of wine, beer and some drink for kids. Location is wonderful, very close to the beach, shops, restaurants - everything around. Churros just opposite the apartment, good fresh fish shop and bakery few meters away. Parking was convenient by the supermarket, but it is close. Mercadona supermarket is just 5 mins walk. Apartment is spacious, clean, had everything we needed. It was hot and noisy at night, but we were at the sea in July, so we knew what to expect :-) We appreciated the washing machine and sun umbrella too. Excellent place!
