Charles “Exceptional service with picture perfect views of the pyramids”

Amazing location with great views of the pyramid from both the room and the restaurant! The room and roof views are exactly as advertised. Exceptional service from everyone at the hotel, I think this is among the best service I have received at any hotel in my travels across 30+ countries. The service was so good that we were initially suspicious that there was a catch (Perhaps we were a bit cautious as this was our first time in Egypt and people had told us that scams are common), but everyone was truly happy to provide a good service and there was no sense of expectation of extra gratuities that is common in Egypt. They even added in an extra complimentary breakfast because we had arrived too early for check-in. I'd like to personally mention Mazen at the front desk for his joviality, Shad at the front desk for her thoughtfulness and Ismail at the restaurant for his impeccable service. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I'd also like to thank Rena at the front desk for helping us arrange an Uber to the airport on the way back. We had initially hailed an Uber but the driver wanted an additional $15 USD (equivalent to an extra 750 EGP on top of Uber's 377 EGP), which is unfortunately a common occurrence. Rena hailed another Uber and ensured that we knew the appropriate price and ended up only needing to pay 272 EGP (which we rounded up to 300). We would definitely come back to this hotel when we next come to Cairo.

The proximity to the pyramids and the views were exceptional. The staff were very attentive and made you feel like you were a guest in their home. Photos are the view from our room.

We were met with really friendly and helpful staff who helped us book tours. Special mention to Nada Menna who recommended an excellent guide for the pyramids and also dinner cruise. The rooftop bar has excellent views of the pyramids. I would recommend Gaia Pyrimid hotel to everyone from families to couples to solo travellers.

1. Magnificent view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace. You could see Pyramids during breakfast and dinner. 2. The new Egyptian Museum is nearby. 3. Very tasty breakfasts, dinners. Good menu, delicious food. We recommend taking fresh mango and strawberry juices! 4. The staff at the reception, at the hotel, speaks good English and is very polite and helpful.

Well, first of all, the view is amazing from the room and a roof terrace. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole stay. Food is delicious. They make very delicious smoothie cocktails. All was perfect! They also gave us souvenir presents on checkout.

I recently stayed at Gaia Hotel Giza and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome — they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warmth really made a difference and set the tone for the whole stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. Every corner, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and smelled fresh. You could tell they really prioritize hygiene and guest comfort, which made relaxing so easy. One of the highlights for me was definitely the food. Every meal was delicious — fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and a great variety of options to choose from. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, I looked forward to every bite! And then there’s the view — simply breathtaking. Being able to wake up and see the majestic Pyramids in the distance was surreal. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime kind of view that you’ll never forget. Overall, Gaia Hotel Giza exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a place with immaculate cleanliness, outstanding service, incredible food, and an unforgettable view, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back!

The staff were absolutely wonderful, we felt so well looked after and cared for during our stay. Super friendly people. The roof terrace is nice and the free breakfast was light and tasty, with fresh juices and coffee. Cleanliness is very good and we were offered room cleaning daily as well as fresh towels and water if we needed. The room itself was a little dated but we honestly didn't care at all, still had a great night sleep each night. Location was right next to pyramid complex and GEM
