It is centrally located set in a side street a bit away from all the noise. Easily reached and next door there is a good Italian restaurant. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast and laundry service was excellent. Staff were all very helpful.

I had a fantastic 6-day stay at El Farida. It was in downtown Cairo which doesn't have the best first impression but quickly grows on you. The hotel itself has a very classical look to it but is clearly modern and functional. I found my room well-equipped and generally everything in good condition. My room was an air-conditioned haven to gather myself between different outings around Cairo. The most remarkable thing about my stay was the staff, such as Omar and Ahmed, who were incredibly helpful at every step. Some examples: - I decided at 10pm on a Friday that I wanted to do an Alexandria day trip the next morning, so they arranged a driver and guide for me who fetched me at 7am the following day - One of the mornings my curtains came loose from the ceiling (maybe I pulled too hard), so I went out and a few hours later this had been repaired and they had cleaned my room (they had cleaned it the day before anyway!) - I generally just appreciated the warmth from whoever was at front desk each day, and how curious they were to learn about how the stay was going and how I was enjoying Egypt

It was an amazing stay in this hotel. Personnal staff was very nice and available ! Room was very big and clean just perfect. The breakfast was delicious and tasteful. The hotel have drivers and guides to visit Cairo and others place. Thank you so much for helped me to program a trip direction Louxor !
