The hostel is located in a nice central location. It’s clean and the rooms are overly quite comfortable so the price is overall decent.

Located in Bab el-Louq; the downtown is all within walking distance. Public transportation to the Citadel/ trash city/ Civilization museum can be accessed easily. Toilet (with shower) in a separate room.

The location is great. The hotel is on a side street that only has foot traffic so it's quieter than most places but keep in mind Cairo is a noisy place. You can go to a couple of restaurants and snack shops without crossing Cairo streets. This place is very clean by Cairo standards. When looking for accommodation a lack of basic cleanliness is a common problem up until you get to the name brand international hotel level. This place is cleaner than most, although it is still as clean as it should be as you an see from my negative points. The breakfast was lovely. The antique elevator was interesting and scary, and safer than it seems. The location is very close to the bazaar and museum of antiquities.
