What I really appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere — it’s not a party hostel, and the communal spaces felt calm and relaxed. The property itself was clean, neat, and well-kept, which I found to be a big plus. It’s also conveniently located: close to Cairns Central, easy to navigate around the city, and accessible from the airport.

A really cute old property that has been well done inside and is kept beautifully clean. Peter was super helpful and let me leave my luggage there as I arrived before check in time. An easy walk to the town centre and literally right opposite the train station. It has a nice big kitchen and the wifi works really well throughout the property. The bathrooms were kept nice and clean and the showers were warm with good pressure. I liked that the room had its own fridge, and also plenty of hooks to hang things. The room had great air-con and a ceiling fan too. I think I even got a room upgrade as well! It felt super homely and I would definitely stay here again.
