We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom and aircon, which was nice and very clean. The staff who checked us in and out were lovely and made us feel welcome.

It’s the perfect environment to socialise and meet new people but also have a quiet time if that’s what you’re looking for. The hostel is very chill and my favorite part was the pool area

I had an amazing stay at Mad Monkey Village. Every staff member at the front desk and the cleaning team was incredibly professional, friendly, and thoughtful. They truly made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. A special shoutout to Judy from Good Travel at the front entrance – she was exceptionally warm, helpful, and attentive. Her passion for travel and guest service really stood out. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a friendly and well-managed stay in Cairns!

We are old couple. To our surprise , the staff and young people (backpackers) spontaneously were happy to help us in some ways. They are lovely people there.
