Great location, nice spot, walking distance from supermarket/shops. Having laundry facilities onsite was handy as we used them. We haven't always but I think we definitely scored a deal this time.

The accommodation was in easy walking distance of a good coffee shop and bakery and also a small supermarket and restaurants. The main reason for choosing however was proximity to places I needed to be. There is a bus stop very close to the resort with regular services to a large shopping centre and the city. Fifty cent fares make it a brilliant option for travelling around Cairns
