10/10. This place has the best value for money you can get in Costa Rica. The accommodation was super clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. The kitchen was extremely clean and very well equipped. Kim, who I believe is the manager, was unbelievably friendly and gave us so many great tips. Thanks to her, we even got to see three sloths. We felt very comfortable, welcome, and truly at home, and we would come back anytime. The location was also a huge highlight. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Both the national park and the supermarket were less than a five minute walk away.

I felt 100% comfortable during my whole stay of 10 nights at this perfect place to be while visiting Cahuita. Its central but its calm, its very clean, rooms get cleaned daily and strictly and towels and bed linen are changed regularly. The kitchen has everything you need and offers genoursly basic stuff like oil, salt pepper ect. Your first coffee in the morning is ready before you wake up (if you want), you dont have to care where and how to get it. How comfortable is that to start the day for early beginners? Anyway, what makes this place so special is not the nice and clean ambiente which even includes a little pool in the garden. Its the host: Kim. From day one when you arrive she gives you all the information you need to move independently. She exactly knows what guest needs and recognises different needs in different guests and always ready to help out with her huge knowledge about whole Cahuita and of course also other places. With passion she shows you her favorite animals in her garden when its already dark. I miss the time at this place already. It was very special. Thank you Kim. Greetings to Flo, Vito and Sherlock. Oh and by the way, i wanted to mention the extraordinary wood cover around the pool that was constructed during my stay. The worker managed to create some art at the corners instead of leaving it in the curvy line it supposed to follow. I like it, its like Cahuita itself, a little crazy (in a good way).

I liked my short stay and recommend. The hostel features a beautiful patio which makes the place extra cosy (and we spotted a sloth right there up in the trees that day). It’s conveniently located in close proximity to the bus station and only a short walk away from the national park. My room was simple, clean and affordable. The management was excellent! Kim and her partner are passionate about what they are doing and provided a lot of useful advice - thank you!
