A quite paradise on earth. Why go to the nationalpark when you can sit in the garden and see everything from sloths to monkeys? The staff are the kindest souls you will ever meet. My stay at Cabinas Algebra was the highlight of my trip in Costa Rica.

We loved the location.(off the noisy tourist area), but about 100m from Playa Grande, we loved the setting: in a wonderful garden with wild animals (we saw a sloth and howler monkeys)! The owners (Andrea and Samuel) were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and warm-hearted, passionate about neture. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. Breakfast was on order and what I had was really good. Very quiet beach nearby. Lovely garden, almost jungle-like in the corners, nice. Lots of plants and you could see different animals. Mosquito-net provided,, good! but not many mosquitoes anyways. Terrace with hammock, very enjoyable. Good people running the place.

Great location with excellent onsite restaurant and above all, the hospitality from Andrea and Samuel - they’re both genuinely nice and welcoming folks. We had a great stay here and the grounds are stunning with wildlife and birds visiting.
