If you are looking for an unconventional way to spend a few nights in Cagliari, then this is it. The house boats are equipped with everything you might need. In the kitchen, there is a coffee express (capsule machine) with capsules refilled all the time; a decent size refrigerator; a kettle; a toaster; lots of pots, plates, cups, etc. The mini bar is also great - you get your beer, champagne, coke and water, but also some chips, nuts, cookies, etc. While there is (naturally) not much space on the boat, it is all arranged in a way that simply works. There is an amazing deck on the roof (a hammock, an umbrella, and two chairs) from which you can look at the marina, the mountains and the sea. The deck in front of the boat is a great place to have a meal (an umbrella is provided, too). Breakfast is delivered in a woven basket and includes juice, milk, fresh rolls and crossaints, jam, ham, granola, plain yoghurt and cheese. The staff is AMAZING - very helpful, kind, polite and smiling all the time. You get a rather personalized experience - they ask you what time you want your breakfast delivered, for example. The AC worked very well. As did the TV (Netflix is available). The boats are located within a walking (1.5 km) distance to central Cagliari (the main harbour, good gelato - Peter Pan, the Rinascente shopping mall and the old town), where you can stroll to alongside the water. There are a few good restaurants within a 5/10-minute walking distance.
