A stunning entrance into a beautiful property, has a special feel about the place. We booked just one night to break up a long drive from lands End, the kids wanted to stay for longer and so did I… we will be back!

Perfect atmosphere, the site that seemed out of a fairy tale book, the lodge was very cozy. I had my morning coffee surrounded by ducks and geese with a beautiful view on the lake. We enjoyed our short stay very much and we are already planning another mini holiday to spend at Herons Lodges.

The location and setting was superb and the lodges were thoughtfully placed. For me the sound of running water and birds were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the lodge was tastefully furnished and an amazingly good use of space. Towels and shower were lovely. Hot tub was well situated and really enjoyable
