This is honestly one of the best cottages that I have ever booked. The photos don't really do it justice: the bedroom is massive, and the lounge is a good size with a big log burner (incredibly welcome after a long walk in torrential rain). The view out the front of the cottage looks out onto a river, with no other habitation in sight, so it's beautifully private. It was warm throughout and the bathroom was a good size, with a large shower cubicle. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return.

A very clean and comfortable cottage which was perfect for 2 adults. The owners have worked very hard to provide a home from home for their guests both inside and out. It was nice to be greeted on arrival and to find bits for hot drinks and a snack left in the kitchen. Little touches like fresh flowers were very appreciated. Logs left and fire place set up but we didn't need to light it as the radiators kept us warm enough. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Gorgeous views. Great location to get to many areas of interest. Local pub a 5 minute walk with good food and friendly staff. Would definitely return here and recommend. Very good value.
