NEIL “Hotel De'Univers in Caen.”

The Hotel De'Univers is in a great location in Caen City just opposite Caen harbour and 3 minutes from the castle & shops. There are good bars & restaurants very close by. Stefan, the hotel owner, was great & helpful & spoke perfect English. I paid a little extra for breakfast each day and got good value for that. The rooms are quite small but the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are clean and well maintained. I was able to park my motorbike right outside the hotel. There is a large car park opposite the hotel too. There is a large market on the harbour car park & street on Sundays that took me an hour to walk around....recommended to see. The front door has a key code, so you can come and go as you wish.

Location & car park opposite the hotel was excellent value for money. Room was clean but quite small. Great to have a kettle in room with tea & coffee. Friendly welcome at reception.
