Wafir “Excellent cottage for total relaxation”

This cottage is one of the nicest places we stayed in in the past 5 years. It is for people who go on holiday to have a total relaxation. There are no culture histories places nearby unless you travel for at least an hour. However, if you are hiker or like to walk then there will be many places to walk through the mountains. The views from the cottage are breath taking. The location is about 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Cadiar, where you can find a basic supermarket, some restaurants, and a fuel station. You will follow the owner by car and you will come to unpaved road which is easy to miss, until you arrive at a concrete paved road which takes you to the property. A parking area just by the cottage where you can find a barbeque, a table with chairs, a swing and to look at the fantastic views of two villages down the mountains and another two over the mountains. They are about 7 km away. Inside you will see an open kitchen with the sitting room, and a diner table, a fire place and a tv, which we did not use. The cottage is connected with a WiFi and feels fresh. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary tools for cooking. The bathroom has the toilet, bidet, hand wash basin and a shower. The bedrooms are of a reasonable size and the beds are very comfortable. The landlady provided the sheets and towels. There are air-conditions and a fireplace (we didn’t use as we went in April). I should imagine it will be very nice and cosy in winter. I was generally happy with this cottage and I will go there if I visit Sierra Nevada again.

WOW! What an amazing house, set on a plateau overlooking the most incredible Alpujarra scenery - definitely a get away from it all location, super comfy house, spotlessly clean, big fluffy towels, comfortable beds and a fabulous fireplace and stove - everything you need is available at the casa. And the dogs had the best time ever. Definitely our new Alpujarras location. Mil gracias to Salvador and Rosario for sharing this piece of paradise.
