room was very clean, friendly staff at check-in, value for money on short stay. Small microwave, fridge & coffee maker with decent coffee provided.

We had a great overnight stay here. The location is convenient and there is a supermarket across the road and some local cafes. However, Ashcroft is less than 10 minutes’ drive away and is a quaint place with a bigger supermarket, lovely bakery/coffee shop, some other retail outlets and galleries and is worth a visit. Our room was compact, which we knew when making the booking, but it was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed for our short stay. The bathroom was very small indeed and although not a problem at all for us, it could be challenging for some guests. The manager, Michael, was most welcoming and helpful and gave us a room furthest from the road junction, which was much appreciated. He also allowed us to check-in early, for which we were very grateful. Thank you Michael!

Had a very nice stay there for a night. Michael from the reception is very friendly and helpful and is always open for a chat. Can definitely recommend this place.
