It’s perfect for a break and a dip in the river after a long journey. Ian is very accommodating . We had a good cooked breakfast .

I had a wonderful experience! The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering valuable tips and taking great care of me with a lot of appreciation. The English breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I couldn't spend enough time at the location, but overall, it was a very positive experience. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Blue House. It was perfectly situated for an overnight stop from the south of Spain to the north of Portugal. Host Ian greeted us at the front gate, helped us unpack and showed us to our room. Just over the road is a restaurant for dinner. Casa Newsham is situated on the edge of an interesting little village, worth walking into. Just up the road is a take away restaurant, a pharmacy and shops.

The host was most helpful and also good company. He cooked yummy scrambled eggs with his own homegrown mushrooms, Large comfortable bed. Spacious walk in shower. Fresh towels every day. Forest views from the balcony,
