Incredible views from the room. Friendly staff. Good beers in the bar, great beer garden with stunning views. Tranquil spot. Particularly entertaining is the local farmer relocating the sheep every day. Great location for some rugged walks or gentle strolls. The bus ride over the Honister pass is definately recommended. We will be back!

Excellent location for walking around Buttermere and Crummock ... food excellent in the Bar and a well presented breakfast too .. huge omelette !! Usually stay at the other hotel nearby however their pricing is now too much by comparison in our opinion !!

Lovely location, spacious room. All the staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was lovely and evening meal we had in bar was tasty and reasonable.
