Property was central to Bury, car park was a little drive to back of property but staff were so helpful in helping me find it. Room perfectly clean and comfy. As always staff made the stay, helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was great.

This is a quirky hotel with stairs and corridors matching its age and history. (But great not to have an endless corridor with rabbit hutches either side). Very well placed to explore Bury - such a great place. Can recommend an hour relaxing outside the Italian restaurant in the square facing the entrance to the magnificent gardens - a cool beer and a nice youg man playing the guitar and singing. The Cathedral is a must visit. So, The Bushel is a nice place to stay - no pretentions...and free parking space.

Staff were excellent - especially housekeeping (Granny Dawn deserves a special mention).
