Good location, around 10mins walk to town, but an easy walk and it was a lovely morning for it. Great breakfast and very comfortable room

Good sized room with some cooking facilities and fridge/dishwasher. Lots of storage provided with 3 door wardrobe , chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and cupboard storage. Good sized power shower. Liked that this was Tudor/Medieval with exposed beams and fireplaces etc and the freely available boiled sweets found in reception/community room and bedrooms.

Our stay was very comfortable. We stayed in Room 3, which, to our delight, had a mini-kitchen where tea and coffee were provided for. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent: a wide variety of different kinds of food were on offer. Readers will enjoy the large selection of books available. As a bonus, the hotel is a short walk from Bury's beautiful cathedral and an array of shops and restaurants.

Friendly welcome, good shared space including a kitchen for guest use, excellent choices for breakfast - best poached eggs in years. Lots of attention to detail and lovely touches in room.
