Location was superb for where we needed to go, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was a fresh change as we normally go where they do a full English.

We loved the location of the property, overlooking the square with its’ grass and beautiful trees and the close proximity of it to the town centre with its’ many shops, restaurants and the Abbey Gardens. The Continental Breakfast had a lovely selection of items for us to choose from and these were of high quality and served attractively. We chose coffee to drink and this was served in a cafetière which kept it really hot and we were offered refills. We loved the character of our bedroom with its’ four poster bed and it was a spacious room with an area where we could sit. Great too, that it had a small fridge and complimentary bottles of cool water. There was plenty tea and coffee available in the room and the added extras of a jar of biscuits and savoury snacks were a very nice touch. In the bathroom, there was a lovely selection of toiletries. Our hosts made us so welcome in their home and their attention to detail in everything made our stay one to remember 😀

The breakfast was excellent. Good variety, fruit juice, tea, coffee pastries, toast, cereal, yoghurt, cheese, complimentary meats. All really good. James and Barbara excellent hosts. The bedroom was clean, fridge, tea, coffee information leaflets. We have no negatives at all
