Great old historic house with original features. You will get a slice of life in the 19th century. A memorable stay. Bathroom was modern and beautiful.

Sarah was a welcoming host when we arrived. This cottage is a charming and original and perfect stay for Autumn. It is spacious but to fit more than 4 guests would be a squeeze in the lounge,dining room or cooking. I would suggest eating out and supporting the local businesses. Just use the kitchen for basics. The bathroom is wonderful with the heated floor and the shower just amazing and love the decor. One suggestion but not essential. For a cottage of this era we noticed fireplaces. It would be nice to see them in their true form but not necessarily in operation( due to fire risk) Just ornamental.
