Everything - the cottage was a wonderful blend of an authentic, stone-walled, slate-floored, two-room miner’s cottage with a skillion addition of a delightful bathroom and toilet. It would have been so easy to get it wrong but it was a delight - white, black and charcoal no unnecessary cutesie pie touches. Good hot shower, a generous well-equipped kitchen and wonderfully warm bed - heaven!

It was quaint and a novelty staying in a stone cottage! It was advertised under all facilities there were electric blankets so we thought great it’s going to be cold so they’ll be great! But there were none and only cotton sheets. It was winter time and no open fires allowed or functional n air con was on 30° all night. It was too cold to shower and i slept in my clothes! Being cold continually is uncomfortable that is why i would recommend others to bring an electric throw to heat the bed up to sleep comfy. Overall taking the coldness out of the equation the cottage was lovely, clean n tidy with enough space for two. My sister and i enjoyed the self guided tour.
