The location was ideal. We could easily walk into the downtown area and to the Botanical Gardens but it was quiet. There were large grounds with in season fruits available to be picked.AT thetime we visited (March), most fruits were not quite ripe, but the cherry guavas were plentiful and delicious

I liked that it was quiet and only a few minutes drive to town. It's rustic and in the process of renovating. The unit is well equipped if you wanted to cook.

Hideaway Retreat is in a lovely quiet spot and yet close to the main shopping area. It is located on an extremely large block with many trees, pines and fruit trees. Our accommodation was very clean and spacious. The staff member we met was friendly and gave us lots of info. A car was organised for us and there was also a mobile phone we could use… just had to top it up.

no breakfast included, lots of nice cafes to try out and the kitchen had all the tools to make brekkie with products from small supermarket
